Is it cold in here or what?

A company that develops and markets temperature collecting devices hired Digital Mitchell Photography (Michael and I in case you forgot) to photograph their products in action.  Our client arranged with one of their customers to have us come in to their customer's store and photograph the product in action.  We love action shots!

Michael loaded the gear in the car (he got to travel light as this was going to be a high pedestrian trafic area) and drove over to the location where the photo session was to take place.  It is one of the newer and finner shopping market in the area and they have a large food court of ready to eat food.  This was where the action would be taking place.  OK, well maybe "action" is too strong a word since Michael was taking photos of food. :-)

The client is a company called: SmartTemps http://www.smart-temps.com  out of Mishawaka, IN and they make several very interesting products.  I love manufacturing and Michael loves "gadgets" and combined we love this device.  It combines a wireless bluetooth temperature probe with a hand held Samsung Galaxy phone, but without the phone part, along with a custom written application on the hand held.  When the temp is taken it is sent to a the hand held via Bluetooth then it is sent over WiFi to the Internet where the data is collected and crunched and reported.  Very cool! (LOL "cool" for a temperature device, get it?)
