Giving Back

Giving back to whatever cause, is an important endeavor.  This weekend, Dawn, Rob and I gave back to a location that has given us some great backdrops to our photographs and to the people that work there for all the support they have given us throughout the year.

The Elkhart Train Museum has become one of our favorite places to shoot, in part because the access to such wonderful machines but also because of the people that work there;  they have gone out of their way to help us and accommodate us.

The three of us, showed up on their doorstep early Saturday morning and told them to put us to work, and they did.  Dawn started putting up decorations while Rob and I started moving displays around inside and out.  The outside RR Crossing sign was the fun one, because as we moved it across the wood plank floor on the old metal wheeled cart, the bells kept ringing and you just could not help but look around for the train!

We quickly ran out of decorations, as they relie on donated items from the public, so please if you are in the downtown Elkhart, Indiana area stop by and drop of some decorations, they especially need garland.
