Santa Experience 2018

Santa Claus and Mrs. Clause stopped by the studio to interact and read some stores with some lucky children and families the other day.

This is the second year that we have had the Clauses in front of our cameras. Las year we held the photo session outside at the request of the Elkhart City Chamber of Commerce. This year we held it inside in our studio and instead of a normal "sit and smile" we did what we called a "Santa Experience."

We created a Christmas set and welcomed the children into the set for what they thought was just a normal picture, but then they heard sleigh bells, and then Santa and Mrs. Claus would come through the back door supriesing the children, lighting up their faces! The Clauses would then start interacting with the children, talking to them, asking them what they wanted, reading a book to them and playing with them. It was all smiles by all participants.

A typical Santa Experience would last about 15-20 minutes and at the end the parents selected the images they wanted to be printed and to also get as a digital image for their phones and social media. Next year we will be designing new and additional sets for everyone to interact with and printing on-site immediately after the sesion so that the families can take their pints with them when they leave.
