NPC Bikini Competition in St. Louis

IMG_9915Our favorite model during her Bikini competition. Dawn and I were headed down to St. Louis to attend this years Shutterfest put on by Sal Cincotta and much to our surprise one of our favorite models was competing there in a regional bikini contest along with 200 other very fit young ladies.

Dawn and I got up, had breakfast and drove to the bikini and body building event.  No sooner did we walk in the door at the St. Charles Convention center then Kristine comes walking by.  When she saw us her face lit up and so did ours, we were very happy to see her and the fact that we did not already miss her.  We gave her a "half" hug so as not to mess up her spray on tan, wow, was she dark!  But a good dark!

The first part of the competition ended around 6 or 7 and the finals were not going to happen until 1 am, so Dawn and I went back to the hotel room and made ourselves dinner.  We sent on the pictures to our good friends Krissie & Joe whom know and love Kristine as much as we do.  Then Dawn and I began talking and reminiscing about Kristine and Dawn said that she was "starting to tear up, just thinking about how proud she was of Kristine and that we were seeing her grow up."  I agreed with Dawn and said the exact same thing.  It is very telling how attached Dawn and I have become with our models...friends.  Kristine, thanks for letting us (table #99) share in your life.  And keep up the good work!
